The acai berry is the latest and greatest weight loss technique and has been featured on countless talk shows all over the nation during the past few years.
Because of how popular the scam has become I wanted to write this article just to inform everybody of what’s going on and how they can avoid being scammed.
The “bitter berry” as it’s sometimes called came to North America around the late 80’s but due to it’s bitter taste most didn’t bother to even try it.
Due to science advancing though the berry was able to be put into a pill capsule and it literally took off after that. All of a sudden acai was featured on every TV talk show out there and it seemed like every body was talking about the berry. Literally thousands of men and women started searching for acai.
Acai was featured on seemingly ever major talk show out there and all of a sudden literally millions of men and women came online searching for a way to get their hands on this super fruit that claimed to make you feel better and make you lose weight.
Some con men saw this as an opportunity to make boat loads of money so they made websites offering free trials of the acai berry as long as the consumer paid shipping and handling. Once the consumer paid with their credit card they were foreced into a billing sequence where they would be billed every two weeks.
Spotting acai berry scams is not a tough thing to do. Just make sure you don’t buy any product that is very costly or that has a free trial. Although acai is a great way to feel better and lose weight the way some people market it is just terrible. By doing your homework you can easily avoid acai berry scams.
